Matt Cook: Castleford Tigers forward extends contract

Matt Cook scored two tries for Castleford in the 2015 season

Castleford Tigers forward Matt Cook has signed a one-year contract extension, tying him to the club until the end of the 2017 season.

Cook, 29, joined the Tigers from London Broncos in July 2014 and has made 20 appearances for the Super League side.

"I'm over the moon to be staying at Castleford for the next two years," he told the club website.

"Since I joined the club last season I've thoroughly enjoyed being part of this team."
