Huddersfield Giants prop Craig Huby will have surgery on a torn pectoral muscle and will be out for 12 weeks.
Huby suffered the injury in Giants' 26-19 loss to Wigan, and will have an operation on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old has made six appearances for Huddersfield this season, having missed the first six games with a broken wrist.
Huddersfield are currently 12th in the Super League table, six points outside the top eight.
