Another great game. What a season with great entertainment at every turn. Would be great if the BBC could show more games but SKY know how big Rugby Leage viewing figures are (second only behind prem league figures) so don't think they will give anyone else any games even for big £££At least the World Cup is on the BBC.
I'm sorry, I didn't know that northerner's played a style of rugby. Is it on TV?? Can anyone watch it? It looks really easy to play. Do we get subtitles so we can understand them speak?
2 excellent games of Rugby shown on the BBC this week. Warrington shouldn't have fluffed it. There wasn't a steady head when they needed it. Pie eaters took their chances. But Hull FC really took the game by the scruff of the neck and are easily the most impressive team of the QF's .Disappointing the HYS opportunity isn't more consistent. But if it was it'd only encourage people to contribute....!
19 - I don't disagree. I suspect The Pies will finish strongly and - depending on the draw later - may well make Wembley. Wane has done a great job with the kids, I totally agree.
You'd barely know the Le Mans 24hr race is on looking at the BBC. I'll TRY to make this POST rugby-relevant but don't suppose I'll CONVERT many readers! Just hope to TOUCH your conscience a little, BBC. How else can I TACKLE this omission?
@6BBC is reluctant to give hys on its RL pages. We should have had open forum on stories like future of the RL structure and the compo Cas got for the little weasel. Instead we get an hys on an individual game, no disrespect to either side because it was a great advert for our sport.
waney should be given an mbe coz the young players he has given a chance too rather than raid Australia and saved wigan millions these youngsters ie gildart burgess marshall Sutton davies Williams and many more are stars in there own rights. Just watch how they finish..well done waney.
It's a tough sport and you get injuries, all teams do. Some have more one season and fewer the next. It is a results business though so Wane could be feeling a bit of pressure. I think he's a good coach. Leeds stuck with McDermott and seem to be going ok this year.I think Smith will be feeling a bit of pressure too.If this was Football I dare say both would have gone weeks ago.
Play-the-balls were the worst I've seen. 1 ref isn't enough, should go back to continuous live rucks, will b able to have 1 ref in the NRL then too. This would help England a lot.
I cant believe some people calling for Wane's head.I think Wigan's injury list this year is the worst I've ever seen in SL history. 18 games in, league starts:S Tomkins 0Bateman 0Manfredi 0Mcilorum 6Gildart 4Gelling 9J Tomkins 9Burgess 11O'loughlin 12Flower 12Farrell 14All guaranteed starters. They've had most of their team out for most of the season.
Great game. However all season warrington have underwhelmed. They have great players but something has gone awry this year.
Edge of the seat stuff even for a neutral like me, enjoyed every minute
Injuries have played their part, but all teams have that. Wane has done a fantastic job, I wouldn't be looking to change. Lots of youngsters coming through and players now starting to be fit again, but yet the form and results need to improve.
Anyone starting to question Wigan form this year? I'm starting to wonder if they need a change at the top. The rugby this year has been poor and the recent run is a joke. surely Shaun Wane should be looking over his shoulder. The result at Leigh the other week was one of my worst experience as a Wigan Fan I have had. don't normally vent about a coach but recently I'm starting to wonder.
What a thriller! Superb entertainment. Hope for another similarly entertaining match tomorrow.
