Warrington winger Tom Lineham scored four tries as Wolves cruised to victory over bottom side Leigh in Super League.

Tries from Ryan Atkins, Ashton Sims and two quick scores from Lineham put the hosts 24-6 ahead at the break, despite Ben Reynolds' try for Leigh.

Centre Ben Pomeroy scored on his Wire debut, and Jack Hughes crossed to extend the lead further.

Matt Dawson went over for Leigh, before two scores from Lineham and a Declan Patton try completed the rout.

It was a much-needed confidence boost for Warrington, who had lost five of their past six games, but the Centurions' lack of discipline and costly errors put them on the back foot inside the first five minutes.

Atkins rounded Leigh's Mitch Brown before Sims crashed over, and Stefan Ratchford added a penalty for a 14-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Lineham twice leaped over in the corner for two quick scores but, with Leigh looking deflated, scrum-half Reynolds collected his own kick after a lucky bounce to put his side on the scoreboard.

Pomeroy added his first try as a Wolves player and Hughes capitalised on Brown's handling error, with Lineham adding two more to his name to increase the damage.

And Warrington still had plenty more in the tank as Ratchford made an excellent run and offloaded to Patton, who took their tally to 50 points in a dominant display by last year's Grand Final and Challenge Cup finalists.
