@103 I really hope you have
I'm saving up for the RL Lions tour down under in 2019. Hope I haven't made a big mistake not going to this WC.
@99 The first Rugby League World Cup had four teams! Now there are 14, eight or nine of which will be very competitive. In 2021 there will be 16 countries competing. It’s growing in both scale and competitiveness. Why not watch it and enjoy?
Tonga and Samoa could cause an upset or two. That said, it is difficult to see past Australia, but we are getting closer to them......Kerry, you are an odd one but I’m sure your parents tolerate you.
She is off again..........Correct Kelly, English Prem = club race so get rid of the rest. RU world cup = 3 team tournament, Dont need the rest.Suppose in 2017 Tennis ,should have just got Roger v Raffa to play each other all year as no one else need play.............Im assuming as you spend so long on RL pages you would have saw some cracking games in 2013 from those nasty other teams!
Seriously how can this be called a world Cup? It's a tri nations. A perennially average England are automatically in the semis before it even begins. Contrast this with Wales in football..Bale, Rush, Hughes, Giggs etc...and they haven't QUALIFIED for the World Cup (nevermind start at the semi-final stage of the tournament itself) since 1958. RU is pushing it also with its nine teams.
England are more than good enough to make the final but you’d have to be optimistic to think we can take the World Cup off the Aussies in their own back garden. That said, the Kiwis did just that in 2008 so it’s not impossible.C’mon England!
Maybe you should, Kerry! Is a good sport with integrity and honest physicality. Or NFL. I once tried out for the Birkenhead Nighthawks as a kicker...
Juggernaut strange comments. I feel you are a league fan in denial. Dont worry just embrace it many people know are. My son played in a under 10 game yesterday. A tremendous advert for community rl. Played in raging wind heavy rain. Both teams were exceptional only 4 penalties and 4 knock ons and the result only decided in the last play of the match. RL at all levels is simply exciting.
Don’t cry wolfie chill out, have a little wriggle on the floor, play a bit of roly poly under you legs, tickle each other in a scrum, bull each other up who cares, think we’re gonna need a bigger boat?
89. Well tough then, play rugby league.
England have to speed up and offload more. Every time we take a stride forwards in developing our game, Aus and NZ always seem to take two and we end up still looking slow and one-out/one-dimensional.We need a new blueprint based on speed with runners on both elbows - otherwise we can forget about winning these tournaments.
Juggernaut, you and your several aliases, here's a suggestion that will help your empty days pass much more quickly. Go on to the many, many Union HYS's which the BBC much prefer & chat with your mates about forward passes, time-numbing scrums, mindless kicking, unfathomable rules etc.Because we League fans don't understand and we don't give a monkeys.
I cannot tell you how much I'd ❤️ it if we beat Australia. Twice. By 60 points.
