Marc Sneyd's drop-goal gave Hull FC a dramatic golden-point extra time victory against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan.
The winning kick came after Sneyd slotted a penalty from the halfway line with the last act of normal time to force the game into extra time.
Sam Tomkins had converted a Sam Kasiano try with less than a minute left to put Catalans 30-28 up.
A penalty direct from the ensuing kick-off allowed Sneyd to become the hero.
The remarkable conclusion earned the Airlie Birds their fifth successive away win, and gave a side that had two debutants in its ranks victory where Super League's top two, St Helens and Warrington, have failed to prevail this season.
Tony Gigot grabbed the game's opening try on six minutes and added to their lead while a man down, Tomkins kicking a penalty following Brayden Wiliame's sin-binning for a high hit on Jake Connor.
Eighteen-year-old Jack Brown then marked his debut in fine style, busting through the line to touch down under the posts and spark a revival that saw Connor Wynne and Josh Griffin cross in quick succession.
Jason Baitieri went over for the Dragons soon after the restart, only for Griffin to grab a second to help restore Hull's 10-point lead.
Again Catalans responded, this time through Benjamin Garcia, only for Bureta Faraimo to grab a fifth Hull try.
Fouad Yaha got Catalans back to within four points with a try in the corner and while Matt Whitley then had a try disallowed for an earlier obstruction, Kasiano charged his way to the line to touch down one-handed to level the scores.
Tomkins' conversion then gave the Dragons a two-point lead, but with Williame catching the Hull restart before it went 10 metres, Sneyd took the chance to level with a long-range penalty.
And when Sneyd's extra-time restart bounced into touch, the visitors got into position to allow him to slot the drop-goal winner.
