Catalans Dragons eased to victory in an entertaining Super League match against Castleford at Stade Gilbert Brutus.
Julien Bousquet and Tony Gigot crossed for the hosts early on but Greg Eden reduced the deficit before half-time.
Greg Bird ran in after the break to extend the hosts' lead while Bousquet scored his second soon after.
Castleford replied straight from the restart through Eden while Cory Aston also crossed but Matt Whitley and Sam Tomkins wrapped up the hosts' victory.
The French side's victory is their seventh of the season and means they remain in sixth while Castleford lose ground at the top as they stay in fourth position following Wakefield's win against Leeds earlier on Monday.
Catalans welcomed centre Braden Wiliame back from suspension for the visit of Cas, but Fouad Yaha, Ben Garcia, Matty Smith, Micky McIlorum and Jodie Broughton were all unavailable.
That did not hold the hosts back, as they took just 11 minutes to open their account when Bousquet powered his way over the line.
Castleford, who narrowly beat neighbours Wakefield on Thursday, had their work cut out after Gigot crossed over but Eden's try got them started, however Peter Mata'utia missed the extras.
