James Webster: Hull KR assistant coach replaced by Willie Poching
Hull KR assistant coach James Webster has left, with Willie Poching returning to the Super League club.
Australian Webster, 40, spent time with the Robins during his playing career before returning as interim head coach in March 2016.
He then served as assistant under compatriots Tim Sheens and Tony Smith.
Meanwhile, Rovers have signed outside-back Greg Minikin on a two-year contract from fellow Super League club Castleford Tigers.
The 24-year-old becomes Hull KR's eighth signing for 2020 and joins having made more than 100 appearances for Cas.
"The deal to come here was done quite a while ago. It was a relief when it all got sorted and I could then focus on finishing well with Castleford ahead of coming here for 2020," Minikin said.
"I met with Tony Smith for the first time only a couple of weeks ago. It was really interesting; I was a bit nervous beforehand, but he was a really nice guy and we chatted about all things pre-season. It has made me even more excited to join Rovers."
Elsewhere, New Zealander Poching, 46, previously worked under Smith at both Leeds and Warrington and had a spell at the Robins under Webster in 2016.
