Leeds Rhinos scored nine tries to thrash Hull KR 52-10 at Headingley.
Rhinos looked fresh following the postponement of their round-two game at Huddersfield and raced clear with two Harry Newman tries and a Cameron Smith score, replied to by Greg Minikin.
Leeds pushed on after the break as Jack Walker, Ash Handley, Smith, Konrad Hurrell, James Donaldson and Richie Myler tries took them beyond 50 points.
Rovers' only second-half score came through Jordan Abdull's converted try.
Richard Agar's side were a totally different proposition to the team heavily beaten at home by Hull FC on the opening weekend of the Super League season, and the Robins simply could not live with their intensity.
But while Leeds had a fortnight to recover after Sunday's game at John Smith's Stadium was called off because of Storm Ciara, Tony Smith's players were a week on from a bruising derby loss to Hull FC - and it told.
The Rhinos' started fast, and superb link-up play between Robert Lui and Luke Briscoe sent Newman in to score before the centre crossed again just a few minutes later thanks to a barnstorming run from Hurrell and a neat tap down from Briscoe.
Hurrell was again the architect, this time for Smith, with a kick that bamboozled the Rovers defence and allowed the Leeds youngster to slide in and score.
Luke Gale, who ended the night with eight goals from 10 attempts, then added a penalty to take Leeds 20 points clear, and although Rovers gave themselves a foot-hold by scoring on the stroke of half-time through Minikin, they could not build on it.
Weight of pressure after half-time saw Walker pounce on a bouncing ball to trigger another Rhinos assault.
A brilliant counter-attacking effort from Handley was possibly the standout try of the night after brilliant work from Briscoe and Newman, and his score was soon followed by Smith's second.
Abdull seemed to have given the scoreline a more sympathetic look in the closing stages, but ruthless Leeds replied by crossing through Hurrell, Donaldson and Myler to record their biggest win over the Robins in Super League history.
