Nottingham winger Andrew Savage has signed a new two-year contract.

The 23-year-old has been with the Green and Whites since a teenager and has now achieved a century of both career points and appearances.

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney said: "Andrew has been a mainstay of the squad for the last four or five years and picked up massive experience.

"He is a player who has just got better and better and he is a key man in the back three."

The London-born player, who joined the Meadow Lane-based club whilst studying at Nottingham University, has been a regular in the first team since his debut in 2006.

Savage added: "I'm really pleased to have signed for another two years.

"I've got a good relationship with Glenn and the coaching staff, so I'm really looking forward to continue working with them in the future.

"I'm very excited by the team Glenn is putting together for the 2011/12 campaign and incredibly glad to be a part of it."
