Glenn Delaney says the return of Morley and Rouse will boost the club

Second row Lee Morley has signed a one-year deal at Nottingham, his second spell at the Championship club after leaving to play in Australia.

The 28-year-old Leicester Tigers academy product played for Nottingham between 2004 and 2009 before joining Easter Suburbs in New South Wales.

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney said: "We're pleased to welcome Lee back.

"He's a dedicated professional who has played lots of rugby for me before and has captained the club."

Delaney added: "Lee has been an integral part of this club and we're delighted he's made the decision to come back.

"Alongside guys like Nic Rouse [re-signed on a two-year deal from Sale], he will provide a real platform in moving forward to where we want to be."

Morley said: "I am lucky enough to still have strong ties at Nottingham so when the idea started to gain momentum I was delighted the club were keen to get me back playing here.

"It is going to be great to link up with a few old faces again, along with a few new younger ones, and I think we should all expect good things from this group of players for next season."
