Scarlets chairman Huw Evans has announced he will step down, with businessman Nigel Short taking over.
Evans has held the position for the past 14 years but will continue as a director on the Scarlets board.
Short's appointment was ratified ratified at a board of directors meeting last week.
"The time was right for me personally... I'm handing over with huge confidence and belief to a new chairman," Evans said.
"I'd also like to pay tribute to former CEO [chief executive office] Stuart Gallacher, for his strength and leadership in times of change as well to our new CEO Mark Davies who has been a fabulous acquisition."
