Jersey boss Ben Harvey warns against complacency
Jersey coach Ben Harvey has warned against complacency ahead of the the 2011 Siam Cup against Guernsey.
Jersey comfortably won the cup last year, beating their bitter rivals by 36-0 at Footes Lane.
Harvey told BBC Jersey: "Guernsey have had a very good year, they've got promotion and I don't expect anything but a very hard game.
"So we need the support enormously, the lads need the support and it's a cracking atmosphere up there."
Jersey go into the game having enjoyed an extremely successful domestic season in National Two South.
Having finished runners up to Ealing Trailfinders, Jersey face a play-off against the second-placed side in National Two North for promotion into National One.
"You've got to keep on a roll," said Harvey. "We've been on a roll since Christmas where we've not lost and we've worked really hard to maintain that record.
"It's not been easy so a loss would set us back in a major way.
"I just feel that if our lads go out and perform and do things that we've practiced then they'll win the game."
