Ulster will take on English giants Leicester in Pool Four of next season's Heineken Cup.
French outfit Clermont and Italian side Aironi complete Ulster's pool following the draw on Tuesday.
Champions Leinster face Bath, Glasgow and Montpellier with two-times winners Munster go up against Northampton, Scarlets and Castres.
Connacht are making their Heineken Cup debut and they will play against Toulouse, Harlequins and Gloucester.
Ulster Director of Rugby David Humphreys is confident the Ravenhill side can progress from the pool after reaching the quarter-finals last season.
'There is no doubt that this is a particularly difficult group, but there are no easy pools any more," he said.
"If you look throughout the competition, there are many teams that could reach the quarter-finals.
"Leicester finished top of the Premiership last season and Clermont finished fourth in the Top 14 so that highlights their quality.
"We know from our games against Aironi last season that they will will be hard to beat as well.
"There is no doubt next season will be another step up for our players but we certainly have the ability to progress to the knock out stages once again."
