Gloucester scrum-half Nick Runciman has said he is relishing being back at Kingsholm after re-joining the club from London Welsh.
Runciman, 25, left the Cherry and Whites for Worcester Warriors in 2005 before moving on to the Exiles in 2008.
He told BBC Radio Gloucester: "It was an easy decision to come back to my hometown club. It's a great environment to be in.
"I'm just getting my head down and look forward to being part of this group."
The club are back in training for next season and Runciman says he is happy to put in the necessary pre-season work.
"It's been great, the boys are all working really hard," he said.
"The coach wants a high tempo so it's important to have fitness as high as possible and I'm looking forward to improving that.
"It's a good group and they had some success last year and now we're trying to improve and build on that."
