Worcester Warriors are to face Argentina in a pre-season warm-up match at Sixways on Tuesday 23 August.
The Pumas, currently ranked the eighth in the world, are in the UK in August to prepare for the Rugby World Cup.
"Richard Hill and I acted quickly as Richard felt we needed another high quality game," general manager Charlie Little told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
"We were made aware last week that Argentina would be in the country and there was interest in an extra game."
The Pumas are due to play Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday 20 August.
As part of their high profile pre-season programme, Worcester are also due to welcome Super 15 club Melbourne Rebels to Sixways on Monday 15 August.
Little says the Argentina fixture will be another good opportunity for the Warriors to showcase Sixways to a wider audience.
"This will be the best pre-season the club has ever had and the ideal preparation for our return to the Aviva Premiership," he said.
"This fixture will put Warriors on the rugby map and is a high profile game for us as Argentina will bring their best players.
"To secure games with both a Super 15 team and international side is very exciting."
