Redruth have bolstered their squad by signing three of their former youth academy players.
England Under-16s and Under-19s academies prop Malcolm Hearn arrives from Exeter Chiefs after spending time on loan at the Rec last season.
Also joining the club are winger Ben Drew, who has played for Cornwall Under-20s and South West England Under-18s back-row forward Adam Lewarne.
The club have also re-signed 16 of last season's squad.
"It's hugely important," said director of rugby Dave Penberthy.
"There's a lot of time and effort in bringing these lads through since they were six or seven years old.
"Having those boys with that background coming into your senior set up can only benefit you and the effort that they've been putting into training at the moment has been first class."
And Penberthy is confident that the squad he has is capable of doing well following Redruth's relegation to National Two South.
"If you look at the 20 players that took the field against Wharfdale in our last game, 16 of those players have re-signed," he said.
"We're in a pretty good position. What I wanted to try and do was strengthen the squad and the club."
