South Africa have named 18 members of their triumphant 2007 Rugby World Cup party in the squad for the 2011 tournament in New Zealand.
Only full-back Percy Montgomery, prop Os du Randt and injured flanker Juan Smith are missing from the 2007 final starting line-up that beat England.
Back-row forwards Schalk Burger, Francois Luow and lock Johann Muller return from injuries to be included.
Coach Peter de Villiers has picked no uncapped players.
Montgomery and du Randt retired in the wake of the tournament win in France.
The Springboks open their defence in Wellington against Wales on Sunday, 11 September and also face Namibia, Fiji and Samoa in Pool D.
