Johann Muller named in South Africa squad for World Cup

Johann Muller has been named Ulster captain for this season

South African lock Johann Muller will be unavailable for Ulster duty for the opening weeks of the season after being picked for World Cup duty.

Muller joins Ulster club-mate Ruan Pienaar in being named in the Springboks squad for the tournament.

Ulster prop John Afoa was also named in the New Zealand squad on Tuesday.

Stephen Ferris, Paddy Wallace, Rory Best, Andrew Trimble and Tom Court are in in the Irish squad while Simon Danielli will be on Scotland duty.
