London Irish have signed Australian utility forward Tom Alexander on a one-year deal.
The 24-year-old, who was part of the Brumbies Super 15 set-up last season, can play in the back and second row.
The younger brother of Brumbies and Australia prop Ben, he made a name for himself at the Eastwood club in the Sydney domestic competition.
Exiles head coach Toby Booth said: "Tom is a skilful player with a great deal of strength so he will offer options."
Alexander said of his move: "I am looking forward to joining up with London Irish and playing rugby in the northern hemisphere.
"The brand of rugby played in Europe has always been very physical and confrontational which will suit my style of play.
"I have enjoyed my time at Eastwood but the chance to play for a side like London Irish in Premiership Rugby was too good to miss."
