Worcester Warriors v Cornish Pirates

Richard Hill
Hill has given his squad four tough pre-season games

Warriors head coach Richard Hill will use the latter stages of the pre-seaon game against the Pirates to field what he sees as his strongest side.

Hill has a good idea who will face Sale in the opening Premiership game.

"We will start with lads in the first half who haven't been playing," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We will let the others have a bit of recovery and get them on in the second half. It will be close to our starting XV against Sale."

Hill admits he has still to decide who will fill the fly-half berth;

"We have got three tens on fine form, and any one of those three can start and do a good job," he said.

"We have one more game to part them to see who will start against Sale.

"The Pirates will give us another tough game, and Sam Betty and Ben Gulliver will start.

"They would like nothing better than beating their old club."

Entry for the game against the Pirates, which kicks of at 1700 BST, will be free as it is part of the club's open day.
