Edinburgh snap up Gloucester prop Shaun Knight on-loan

Knight has represented England at the 2012 under 20 world championships

Edinburgh have moved to increase their front-row options by signing Gloucester prop Shaun Knight on a short-term deal.

Knight has signed a six-week loan deal, providing cover for regular front-row players Ross Ford, Allan Jacobsen and Geoff Cross.

Edinburgh coach Michael Bradley said: "Shaun provides invaluable cover during a crucial six-week period of the Rugby World Cup.

"I'm certain he will be an asset in this short but critical time."
