Redruth 'not firing on all cylinders' - Penberthy

Redruth came from behind to beat Cornish rivals Launceston

Redruth director of rugby Dave Penberthy said there is more to come from his side after they beat Launceston 15-13 in National Two South.

Ben Hilton's try and Kieron Lewitt's penalty helped Launceston lead 8-5 at the break, with Craig Bonds crossing for the home side.

Brett Rule's penalty made it 8-8 before Tom Duncan's try put Redruth back in front before Ben Turner's late score.

"We're just not firing on all cylinders at the moment," Penberthy said.

"I think it's going to take a couple of weeks for us to settle in," he added to BBC Radio Cornwall.

"Scrummaging we were good but we've just not got that fluidity at the minute," he continued.

Redruth are fifth in the National Two South table, four points off top spot.

"We're notoriously slow starters so I've still got high hopes but it is about building for the future now," Penberthy added.
