Jersey boss Harvey expects a tough test at Blackheath

Jersey head coach Ben Harvey says he expects Blackheath to provide a stiff challenge for his side on Saturday.

The islanders, who got their first win of the season against Birmingham & Solihull last week, travel to face a team who have yet to win this season.

"Blackheath will no doubt come out all guns blazing," Harvey told BBC Jersey.

"When you've lost your first two games you'll be looking to start your season somewhere and they'll be looking to try and start it against us," he added.

Jersey are without hooker Dave Felton, who has a neck injury, so Charlie Clyde-Smith will deputize.

Dai Bishop is fit to return at centre while Michael Le Bourgeois is back in the squad after being suspended.

"To go to Blackheath is an amazing thing because they are the oldest club in the world," Harvey said.

"It presents some challenges and will be a great honour for the club."
