Jersey came from two tries down in the first five minutes to hang on for their first away win in National League One.
Neil Dewally and Dave Allen put Blackheath 10-0 up before full-back Michael Le Bourgeois crossed over to reduce the arrears.
After trailing 16-13 at half time, James Copsey and Nicky Griffiths both scored converted tries to give the visitors a healthy 27-16 lead.
But Ben Ibrahim's late converted try left Jersey hanging on at the end.
