Exeter Chiefs' first bonus-point win in the Premiership left head coach Rob Baxter a happy man.
Exeter scored four tries in a Premiership match for the first time as they beat Newcastle 32-15.
"We feel we're on good form," Baxter told BBC Radio Devon.
"We feel we're putting a good side out on the pitch at the minute so to be collecting points is very important for us," he added.
The win also put the Chiefs top of the Premiership table after their opening day win over Leicester.
"Where we stand in the table at this stage of the season is largely irrelevant," Baxter said.
"But what isn't irrelevant is that we've got nine points from two games, which is massively satisfying.
"The key for us now is to keep pushing through with what's working well for us, which is working hard, preparing well and enjoying being in the Premiership," he added.
"You've got to make sure that Saturday afternoons in the Premiership are what it's all about for you and if we play in that manner we look like a really good side," Baxter said.
