Redruth winger Matt Bowden a month away from fitness

Bowden scored five tries for Redruth last season in 21 appearances

Redruth winger Matt Bowden is still a month away from returning to the side after injury.

The 23-year-old has been out with a torn abductor muscle he sustained in a pre-season game against Bath United.

"Hopefully he will be back doing light training in the next three to four weeks," Redruth's director of rugby Dave Penberthy told the club website.

Meanwhile, Aaron Penberthy is set to be out for six to eight weeks with a broken rib suffered against Worthing.
