Jersey Rugby Club head coach Ben Harvey has called on his players to improve following their first home defeat in more than two years.
Jersey's 26-15 loss to Ealing left them mid-table in National One.
"At some stage we're going to have to make sure each player in the squad fronts up," Harvey told BBC Jersey.
"They are all working hard but I think they now realise the quality of the league is such that you need skills under pressure."
Harvey admitted he is still unsure of his best starting line-up.
"We're trying to get some cohesion, we're trying to find our best starting 15.
"We're looking at different combinations and like all clubs we've had lots of injuries," he added.
