A young Cornish Pirates side scored 43 unanswered points in the second-half to beat Bristol 50-22 in the British and Irish Cup match at the Mennaye.
Two tries from Mitch Eadie and one from Marco Mama helped Bristol to a 22-7 half-time lead - Charlie Walker-Blair getting a try for the home side.
But half-time replacement Dave Ward scored a hat-trick while Rhodri McAtee scored two tries in the second period.
Paul Andrew also scored for the Pirates while Rob Cook kicked 15 points.
