Bedford Blues have appointed former Northampton Saints fly-half Paul Larkin to their coaching staff.
The 54-year-old replaces Nick Walshe, who left to become a national academy coach with the Rugby Football Union.
Larkin joined the Saints coaching staff in 1994, where he remained until 2007, after which he became part of the Exeter Chiefs management team.
"Paul is well known to us and I believe he will be a valuable addition to the staff," said Blues boss Mike Rayer.
"He has been involved with top-flight rugby as a player and a coach for 30 years and I think that we are all excited to have a new voice joining the team and offering plenty of advice and opinions."
Larkin added: "I would like to thank Mike for the opportunity to join Bedford, a club with a rich history that I am very well aware of.
"We've got plenty of work to do and I can't wait to get started."
