Exeter Chiefs coach Ali Hepher says his side will be able to cope with their shortage of forwards.

Chiefs flanker James Scaysbrook and on-loan prop Alan Paver both came off with injuries in the 17-13 defeat by Saracens at Sandy Park on Saturday.

Peter Short is out with a broken leg while Hoani Tui has a calf problem and Chris Budgen is away with the army.

"That's the nature of the game, we'll be fine and we'll work through it," Hepher told BBC Radio Devon.

"The medical team are doing a fantastic job with everyone and we'll be bounce through it and be ready for next weekend as soon as we can."
