Doncaster Knights 12-3 Plymouth Albion

Plymouth Albion

Plymouth Albion slipped to their third successive defeat in the Championship as they were beaten by Doncaster Knights at a rain-sodden Castle Park.

Albion had the better opening period but only had a James Love penalty to show for their efforts at the interval.

Knights dominated after the break as Andy Boyd and David McIllwaine both went over for the home side.

To compound Albion's misery stand-in skipper Ruairi Cushion limped off just before the end.
