London Irish number eight Chris Hala'ufia has been suspended for seven weeks for a dangerous high tackle on Gloucester's Olly Morgan.

He admitted the Rugby Football Union charge of making a dangerous tackle in the 33-30 defeat on 1 October.

The 32-year-old Tongan was sin-binned for the foul.

He has a history of being suspended, having faced three, four and eight-week bans in 2010 and 2011 before the latest disciplinary action.

An RFU statement read: "Hala'ufia was duly suspended by the RFU disciplinary panel for seven weeks and will be able to play again on November 29 2011."

Team-mate Faan Rautenbach was found not guilty of striking an opponent in the same game.

Leicester prop Boris Stankovich had a citing for a dangerous tackle in the game against Bath upheld, with no further action being taken.
