Exeter Chiefs coach Ricky Pellow says Gonzalo Camacho could make his debut in next week's LV= Cup match at Saracens.
Camacho, 27, played in four of Argentina's World Cup matches including the quarter-final loss to and games against and England.
"I think those guys coming back, we want to get them involved as soon as possible," Pellow told BBC Radio Devon.
"It might be against Saracens depending on how everything runs in terms of how we manage him."
Camacho joined Exeter from Harlequins in the summer having made 24 appearances for the London club last season.
"He'll come in and offer something new and different," Pellow added.
"He's had a great World Cup and he's shown why we looked at him in the summer and why we signed him.
"I think all the supporters at the club and the management and players are looking forward to working with him and seeing him play."
The Chiefs face Ospreys on Saturday in their first LV Cup game.
