Guernsey captain Blair Campbell has been ruled out for up to two months after breaking his hand.

The New Zealand-born fly-half injured himself in the opening moments of Saturday's loss at Portsmouth and will be out for between six and eight weeks.

"It's very frustrating, especially as I thought our season was going quite well, even though we lost at the weekend," he told BBC Guernsey.

A replacement for Campbell at fly-half has not yet been named.

"I think we'll trial a few guys there and see who fits the best," he continued.

"Our depth this year has been a lot better than years gone by so I think we'll be able to cope alright," he added.
