Former Ireland boss Eddie O'Sullivan has announced he is leaving his job as head coach of the US Eagles.
O'Sullivan said he was not seeking to renew his contract and wanted to think about other roles in the game.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my two and a half years, it has been a rewarding journey working with all the players and staff," said O'Sullivan.
"I was delighted with our displays in the World Cup, but now I want to consider options closer to home."
He added that the American national team's win over Russia, and the performance against Ireland on 11 September, were highlights of the recent World Cup in New Zealand.
O'Sullivan led Ireland to three Triple Crowns during his time as coach between 2002 and 2008.
