Redruth director of rugby Dave Penberthy says he is happy that his side have got back to winning ways after their 42-36 victory over Clifton.
Rhodri McAtee scored two tries after joining on loan from Cornish Pirates.
Greg Goodfellow, Jamie Semmens and Tom Duncan also crossed the line while Aaron Penberthy kicked 17 points.
"Scoring five tries was good. It was vital that we bounced back after last week's very disappointing performance," Penberthy told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I thought the first half, certainly the last 20-25 minutes of that half, we played as good rugby as we've played all season."
And Penberthy was full of praise for McAtee, who scored twice in seven first-half minutes.
"He's a great player and it's just his experience around some of the guys," he said.
"We're lacking a bit of confidence in that area and having him in the side really does build that."
And McAtee praised his team-mates for giving him the platform to score two tries.
"In the first half I thought our pack played a very clever game. They kept the ball well, controlled the game very well and made it very easy for the backs with an outstanding platform to play off."
