Launceston skipper Tom Rawlings could miss Saturday's Cornish derby with Redruth through injury.
Rawlings, who faces a late fitness test, would not divulge what the problem was, but says he will try to play through the pain barrier.
"It's not definite yet, but it's derby day and everybody wants to play on derby day, especially against the Reds.
"If I'm feeling OK then I will definitely put myself forward," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I'm sure I'll dose up on a few ibuprofen and go into the game pumping if I am involved," he added.
But Launceston will be without prop Bruce Pow who has a calf problem.
Redruth also have their own front row concerns, with prop Darren Jacques possibly missing the match with an injury of his own.
