Glenn Delaney demands Nottingham response

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney says Nottingham must respond to back-to-back Championship losses over Christmas.

The Green & Whites lost 35-24 to Bristolexternal-link and 19-11 to Rotherhamexternal-link and Delaney has demanded an improvement against Cornish Pirates on Sunday.

Delaney said: "We learnt a lot against Bristol, who are clearly the best side in the league, and we're determined not to make the same mistakes again.

"We need to execute better and do our core basics better."

Delaney, whose side are seventh in the table - three points and three places behind Pirates - added: "And if we can do that for the full 80 minutes we'll give ourselves a good chance of returning to winning ways."
