Wasps winger Tom Varndell is set to miss the remainder of the Premiership campaign after suffering a foot injury.
The 25-year-old England international requires surgery which will keep him out of action for up to 12 weeks.
His absence is a further blow to an injury-ravaged Wasps side, who have suffered six straight defeats.
Chris Bell, Christian Wade, John Hart, Tom Rees, Joe Launchbury, James Cannon and Ross Filipo are all on the long-term injury list.
Director of rugby Dai Young has already seen flanker Joe Worsley, hooker Steve Thompson and number eight Dan Ward-Smith retire because of injury, while Nick Robinson and Ed O'Donoghue are also unavailable after suffering blows.
Wasps lie second from bottom in the Premiership table, and next face Bordeaux on Sunday in the European Challenge Cup.
Varndell, who has made 75 appearances for Wasps since signing from Leicester in 2009, suffered an ankle injury at a similar point of last season's campaign.
