Director of rugby Richard Cockerill says Leicester Tigers will do all they can to support centre Mathew Tait.
A groin injury means Tait has only played three games since joining from Sale, with his last match in October.
Cockerill told BBC Radio Leicester: "He has had some very bad luck. Sometimes you have a bad run and unfortunately for Matt that has been his case.
"We are pretty patient with our injured players. If they get injured for us we have the ethos that we put them right."
Cockerill added: "That's what we're doing with Matt. We know if we can get him through that he is a very good player."
