Hooker Rob Webber will leave Wasps at the end of the season to join Bath on a three-year deal.
The 25-year-old started his career with Leeds before joining Wasps in 2005, where he has made 107 appearances.
Webber is one of nine uncapped players named in England's squad for this season's Six Nations.
Bath director of rugby Sir Ian McGeechan told BBC Radio Bristol: "He suits what we want to do and how we want to push our game forward."
He continued: "He's a strong player around the field and is very mobile.
"I knew of his qualities back in the Wasps days so we are delighted to bring him on board and help with the continuity of what we want to do."
Webber has six England Saxons caps and was part of Martin Johnson's squad for the 2010 summer tour of Australia before being overlooked for last year's Six Nations and World Cup.
