Plymouth Albion missed a chance to pick up another bonus point ahead of the Championship play-offs as they lost at home by a weakened Nottingham side.
James Love kicked Albion's first-half penalty in response to Nathan Jones and Craig Hammond's converted tries.
After the break Love added three more penalties but Juan Socino's try extended Nottingham's lead.
Aaron Carpenter went over for a late Plymouth try deep into injury time but it was too little too late.
Both sides finished with fourteen men as Albion's Sean Michael-Stephen was sinbinned and Nottingham's Michael Penn was sent off for an alleged headbutt.
