Northampton Saints trio earn new deals
Northampton Saints have handed contracts of undisclosed lengths to prop Tom Mercey, winger Anders Mogensen and hooker Ross McMillan.
England Saxons international Mercey, 24, has made 38 appearances since joining Saints from Saracens in 2010.
Academy product Mogensen, 20, scored nine tries during a loan spell at Cambridge earlier this season and is currently dual registered with Moseley.
Former Nottingham forward McMillan, 24, signed a short-term deal two weeks ago.
He had been on trial at Franklin's Gardens since October and, like Mogensen, has yet to make a first-team appearance.
"We need players who can contribute to the squad and this is why we've extended the contracts for all three players," said director of rugby Jim Mallinder.
"Tom has been a regular part of the first team squads throughout his time at the club and we know that he can deliver good performances on a regular basis.
"Anders and Ross may not have had their first team opportunities, but they have both built up their experience in The Championship and are very eager to show what they can do in the black, green and gold."
