Northampton Saints winger Paul Diggin has agreed a new contract for an undisclosed length of time.
The 27-year-old has played 138 games across eight years for his hometown club, amassing a total of 295 points.
This season he has featured nine times, crossing the line once in a 33-3 Premiership victory over Exeter Chiefs in October.
"It's a bit of a cliché but you always want to play for your hometown club," he said.
"And the Saints is a great club to play for.
"Now we've got the most competitive squad that I've been a part of. It doesn't matter what your name is, unless you're performing you won't be in the team.
"As far as the future's concerned, we've been close for the past couple of years, but I think that we can take the next step and win some major silverware."
