Ben Youngs has been suspended by Leicester after he was cited for allegedly striking an opponent.
The England scrum-half is accused of striking Jamie Gibson by allegedly dropping a knee on to the London Irish player and then punching him.
Youngs has been suspended for a week and will miss the Premiership game against Worcester on Friday.
A Leicester statement read: "This is obviously a disappointment to Ben after returning from international duty.
"Ben has been banned for one week and will not be available for selection for Friday's home game against Warriors."
The Norfolk-born player, who has 22 caps and four tries for his country, featured in every game of England's recent Six Nations campaign, and scored in the 30-9 win over Ireland.
