Redruth have secured the services of a number of their top players including last season's captain Craig Bonds and top try-scorer Tom Duncan.

Paul Thirlby, Peter Joyce, Chris Fuca, Tom Notman and Craig Williams have also re-signed at the Rec.

"Their experience and knowledge is without doubt a big boost for the club," head coach Adrian Edwards told BBC Sport.

Edwards says he is still hoping to add to the squad with a few more faces.

"We're possibly looking at one or two from outside, but there's nothing concrete or certain yet.

"We've got a good squad with some experienced players and some youngsters coming through as well as one or two from local clubs."

Edwards will get his squad together for the first time on Tuesday as he takes the first pre-season training session.

Having been involved with the club behind the scenes since his appointment in March, Edwards says he cannot wait to get started.

And he hopes that the experienced players are able to pass on their knowledge to the youngsters that are coming up through the ranks.

"We just want to get on and do it now.

"Inevitably the young players now will be the next Craig Bonds' and Paul Thirlby's and that's what the club's based on."
