Nottingham Rugby head coach Martin Haag says his side's trust of their systems was a factor in their come-from-behind Championship victory over Leeds.
The Green and Whites, who were 20-3 down at one stage and 23-17 behind at half-time, came back to win 34-29 in their opening game of the season.
Haag told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We've got new systems, new ways of doing certain things.
"I felt the boys trusted those systems in the second half."
Andrew Savage scored two tries, while Michael Holford and Alex Shaw went over for the bonus-point victory.
James Arlidge contributed 14 points, converting all four tries and kicking two penalties.
"I thought in the end we came out with a great victory," added Haag.
"There was tremendous team spirit to come back from where we were, but we know there's little things we can improve."
