also don't see why Dan is apologizing for the rest of the slackers on that team...the ball from that rook was sow slow it was unreal...really lucky not to go down by a lot more i thought
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
There is a difference between clearing out a ruck with the boot and outright savagery. Granted Sexton was slowing the ball by deliberately falling on the wrong side. However, once he was there that was a matter for the ref. Stamping on his head when he was wedged between bodies had only one intention. And that was nothing to do with the ball. Otherwise I think that we fought back very well.
No need to apologise after 30 mins we were the top team and really should have won; plenty to be positive about I would say as usual. All i ask is that we are always very competitive; winning some is great and to play so close to Oz etc consistently is someing we never dared dream of.English media full of the usual byle and bull ***** Have a great game at the weekend
Why on earth is he apologising!? Madness. He comes across as weak. Wales are good, but not great like the supporters would like to believe. No strength in depth and one-dimensional. Become more adaptable and they'll improve. Maybe they need some homegrown coaches to instil into them some passion and not a shady Kiwi or an emotionless Howley! Good luck from an English living in Cardiff.
What you actualy know about rugby could be written on the back of a postage stamp (2nd class of course) trot off!!Do stamps in Wales have the Queens head on?Howley should call up Henson, Biggar has shown his weak by apologising to the fans to be an International player.
87 JohnCheer up, it's just the turn of the wheel and you've had plenty of fun at our expense in recent years. You like to mock us for our supposed sense of superiority and entitlement. Has it occurred that we quite enjoy having a dig when you do the same (because you do!!)It's just banter and harmless barring the few truly obnoxious wums...on both sides who, like you say...aren't well!
When in trouble they'd give the ball to shane williams and shane would create somthing from nothing. The only player I can see who could do the same is Eli Walker. Wales a too one dimensional with all their frankenstein's monster of a shambling backline. too ponderous, too predictable.
@85 I would not think genuine English fans would want you expressing their point of view. What you actualy know about rugby could be written on the back of a postage stamp (2nd class of course) trot off!!
Why are these Welsh threads always choker block with English wum's? Maybe a psychologist could explain it but it's probably something to do with past underachievements closer to home and the need to express themselves loudly and arrogantly again after so much pain and hurt. Just a hunch.
I think Biggar would play better if he was also kicker as that's a huge part of his game. But H'penny doing so well they can't take that from him. He deserves another few games, you can't judge him on 1 game!I think Wales need to look more on our non-welsh based players, so many of them are playing so well-Nicky Robinson,Paul James,Rhys Gill,Dominic Day and do I dare mention a certain Mr Peel....
Biggar is the best thing to happen to Wales, from an English point of view.Keep trying Dan.
This is crazy! There is no way that a player should be apologising for anything.Win lose or draw I'm pretty sure that Dan Biggar did his level best and fans can't ask for more. Not unless they fancy pulling on a jersey and trying out for a place themselves. You can apologise to team-mates if something goes wrong but when you start doing it in front of fans then it shows up the team mindset!
Trot off Hersh you will miss the school bus!!
@78Rees is nowhere near international standard now. He just hits the deck as soon as he gets ball. Hibbard is outstanding. I would prob start Paul James as well. Jenkins has gone backwards since moving to Toulon. Also bar the charge down Biggar had a very solid game nd should be kept.
@78 change Rees for Hibbard and am with ya
