Women's Six Nations: Ireland beat Scotland to win Triple Crown

Ireland's Women have sealed their first Triple Crown by beating Scotland 30-3 at Lasswade on Saturday afternoon.

It means coach Philip Doyle's team have made sure of their place in the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Ireland led 8-3 at half-time thanks to a Niamh Briggs penalty and a try by Alison Miller.

Miller scored another try in the second half followed by touchdowns for Siobhan Fleming and Briggs who also landed another penalty and two conversions.

Scotland had led early in the match through a penalty by centre Lisa Ritchie.

Earlier in the campaign, the Irish beat Wales 12-10 and then had a superb 25-0 victory over England in Dublin.
